Our simple dream :)

It was 7 years ago when I met my friends whom I treat now as my "real" brothers and sisters. Our friendship started since we were young and it was in grade school. I will not forget the day when we had our time relaxing, singing and chatting about our future  in our bunso's house. Her name is Lianne. It was a dream for us that one day, when she turn 18 we'll be the one to be  her 18 red roses. It was a childlike  dream for others but for us it is something that we treasured and remembered as we grew old.

After all the things that happen, 7 years had passed. That childlike dream of us turn to reality. It was last March 17, 2012 when we had the celebration of our bunso in Rosas Garden Hotel in Emita. So let me share to you, some of our  unforgettable moments that we shared together.

Lianne as she turn 18 with her nephew with so so  cute Chichi
This photo was taken when she's about to enter the debut hall. It was before the introduction of the debut-ant, telling her that she grew into a  fine woman ( sarcastic weh? ).

Well lets try to make a comparison of her past and when she turn 18. Here take a look.

Lianne was around 14 around that time and the other one was on her 18th birthday.

Look. May pinagbago ba? Haha. Joke. The changes are miles miles away from her childhood. She's truly now a fine young lady.

But of course, let me share you the event of the night. Tantamount to that is the traditional way of celebrating a debut. 18 roses, candles, treasures and the cotillion de honor.

Lianne with her father Tito Do. Her first dance ofcourse.
I ask somebody why is that always the father should dance first her daughter in a debut? Why not last? Then he answered me that, first because the father is now giving the authority to other boys to dance her daughter other than with him. Somehow I felt satisfied with his answer.

With her escort Franz ( Lianne's best friend )

Mark, RR, Vince, Tito, Bonbon, Fiel, Jhim and Daniel ( the one who's in picture)
This are my friends, they are also the participants of 18 roses, including me. Well, you may be wondering if that printed photos is someone who passed away. No, no, no, he was also part of our family and his name is Daniel, unfortunately he went into training for 6 months because he'll be a police soon, so we just decided to print a photo of him so he wouldn't miss the bonding.

This is the cotillion DE honor. The first part was in the tune of I'll Make Love To You by Brian McKnight and the second part was in the tune of Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5.

Finale? I don't know haha.

All I can say is that we work on this thing so hard yet we still have some mistakes in the dance floor. But what worth is the fun and meeting new friends. FYI, majority of the girls in the cotillion are Lianne's college friends.

I'll be posting now the dance number of our bunso and of course, our degrading ( haha ) dance performance.

Lianne with Mha Mens Crew ( I don't know if it is the right spelling for that )

Originally, this group was Darwin's  dance crew. Fortunately, they showcased their talent on Lianne's debut that made the night an enjoyable one. Their crew name is Mha Men's Crew.

And of course, our own performance. I can't say a thing about this thing >.< If tita didn't requested this one, I will not be doing it. Well, nangyari na. No regret just having fun.

I will not be biased on my comment here, but I'll be using a deep term to describe this one. This is an august, fiery and stately exploit of talent. Hahaha. Nadiskubre kong kaya pala naming gumiling haha. We surmount our barrier and transcend into a new horizon of endowment. Haha. Tama na sa praises of words. But one thing is I am sure of. They enjoyed our performance ^^..

Now, I will be posting random photos of our happenings. This is truly an unforgettable one.

When I was writing about this article, I started to remember the past. The times when we are just visualizing and dreaming of this day to happen. Yes, I was too dramatic. But it was a simple dream that we surpassed after struggling a lot of problems with our barkada. With Tito, Popoy, Mark issues, mga tampuhan at kung ano ano pa.  I  wasn't that too optimistic that this thing will not turn to what we expected. I just realized that achieving a dream that we wanted to have takes a lot of effort and of course willingness to stay and to amend each other mistakes, solving our problems and a lot more. I can say now that for the past 7 or 9 years of our friendship we matured in some manners.

Right our dream doesn't end here. We have a lot of dreams for ourselves and for our barkada. I'll be saying this to you guys, that we will be facing a lot and greater hardship as we go on. Some might be too busy and forget to drop by with us , some might have their family ( although I hope not gonna happen ), some might think of their studies well, and some might forget to come and have bonding together again. I'm just hoping that we'll be stronger than what we are today and keep the bond tighter. Hardship, trial and ordeal are just test to test our friendship. Always try to understand each other and of course love each other.

To my LFW family. I love you. And Happy 18th Birthday ulit Lianne :) ^^..
